I'm planning on buying a second one next year. My wife loves to wheel just as much as I do and with two kids approaching the appropriate ages 2-3, they are begging us to go all the time. Plus, I need something to pull me out when we're out in the sticks... Great rigs,.. Plus I'm not that big of a guy and there's no way you're getting me to sit in that skinny seat on the passenger side, LOL
Hello Every one; It,s been awhile since I been on here,I,m still driving my 2014 Reeper.It has around 6,000 miles on it.I,ve found a used trailer that will pull easy,and I can haul a canoe on the brackets.I will add a few pictures,just have to remember where to go for this.

There is no other vehicle that suits our needs: street legal,4wd with lockers and fits in our toyhauler. I plan to replace it with the 1100 2 seater when someone else gets some miles on one! We love it!
I've owned lots of off-road vehicles,,,motorcycles, ATV, Jeep, etc. The Reeper fills a unique gap, in that it is road legal (at least in upstate NY). I think the design is OK, but the execution sucks. You need to be a mechanic/fabricator to own these or at least close enough to someone who can do it for you. I have read numerous threads involving redesign and fabrication. Is this acceptable??? NO, I don't think so. So,,my answer is NO I would not buy another one right now. If Oreion can get its S**T together I might consider it. What I think is gonna happen is that other reputable manufacturers are gonna jump on this nitch market. I have owned Polaris, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda ATV's and side-by-sides and never had the incredible amount of repair work that the 2017 Sport has dumped in my lap. I am also speaking for the other three Reeper owner that are friends of mine. It seems to be a rare weekend when all four are ready to go without me having to wrench on them. Hope I didn't offend anyone, but it just rubs me the wrong way when we have to repair s**t that involves shoddy manufacturing, crappy assembly, inferior materials, etc,ect. It would be more tolerable if I had cobbed this together in my shop out of used and discarded parts (which I have done with sometimes less than perfect results) I also didn't pay $19000 for the "privilege" of fixing these buggers.

Thanks for the honest assessment. Don't worry about offending anyone. They seem to be hit and miss on quality and issues you mention. I have had to do my share of wrenching on mine as well. It seems to be mostly trouble free now that I have gone over and or made some improvements. I am sure your assessment will help others decide or at least consider. I will add there are many owners who do have these that are more trouble free.
I'm happy with mine. yes, it requires wrenching, but any vehicle I have purchased needed wrenching to make it the way you want it. It seems the newer the vehicle the more it needs for wrenching to get rid of the liabilities the companies incorporate into these units.
I like it but it breaks a lot, got rid of the factory air filter and made my own so i dont suck in water, put a crankcase filter on it so no injecting back into the intake, and unplugged the O2 sensor so it will run better, and unrivited the mufflers,drilled 5,1/2 inch holes in back plate so flows and sounds better.Lastly made my own skid plates out of ali so tbey dont rust like the factory ones do. Now changing my indicator lights ,front and back for led (front turn lights are cheap bulbs from factory but unit is sealed so cant change, dumb idea ! In 3000 miles from new i have had 11 things break or fail and no manual to tell me how to fix. WE NEED A MANUAL !
